About Jette

My name is Jette, I was first diagnosed with PCOS in 2005. Throughout my journey I lacked a one-stop-shop resource where I could read about PCOS, health and lifestyle tips plus read other women's PCOS journeys. There was no place to go so that I didn't feel alone, or that gave me tips and ideas about tasty food I could eat, get motivation to keep exercising or even just new ideas about how to ease some of my symptoms. This website is a collaboration of lots of women diagnosed with PCOS and their stories, what worked for them and also wisdom from industry experts. I can't guarantee that what you read in these pages will work for you as I'm sure if you have PCOS it's so unique to each and every one of us. BUT they have worked for someone and in my opinion it's worth giving everything a shot.

After a huge amount of work on my diet and exercise, taking herbs and acupuncture I got pregnant within 3 months and now have a 3 month old baby girl called Molly. Everybody's journey is different, every body is unique and all of us with PCOS have unique and individual symptoms. When I was speaking to my GP about having a baby, the only thing she told me was to loose weight....however when I went to my herbalist, we went through a whole body scan, went through various herbs to boost certain elements within my body and I worked closely with her even after we got pregnant. I'm 100% convinced that my diet, exercise, the herbs and acupuncture helped me get pregnant - when I was diagnosed in 2005 I was told that PCOS was so extreme I'd never get pregnant.

So while I 100% believe in alternative medicines such as acupuncture, reiki, reflexology, herbs etc I understand it's not for everyone and that's why we have experts from lots of different industry's who are sharing their wisdom with us. Use a few of our resource, use all of them, I'd love to hear what worked, what didn't and your journey.

This website I hope will show you that you are not alone in your PCOS journey, that there are other women around the world who can 100% relate and I hope that we can become your community on your journey.
